Frequently Asked Questions

You probably have questions. Here are some commons ones so you can feel confident about booking your special event.

  • The majority of food is prepared on site although some menu choices need to be prepared ahead of time. (ie creme brulee needs a day to set up)

  • A dinner for two is wonderful or up to groups of 12. For buffet-style (self-serve), groups of up to 20 are welcome.

  • Julienne Dinner Party is not a caterer where food is made off-site and delivered for on-site meal service. Instead, I prepare the meals in your kitchen and plate it fresh on site.

  • 50% of Julienne Dinner Party events are interactive which means all of the group participates in some of the meal preparation, cooking and plating. Information on ingredients and different ways to prepare food are explained. It’s really fun!

  • Plates and silverware will be placed in the dishwasher and counters cleaned at the end of the event. I love leaving your space spic and span!

  • I bring all equipment (pots, pans, etc) and cooking utensils. If there is a workable grill on site and it correlates with the menu that may be used as well.

You would just be responsible for providing all serveware and beverages.

  • Food allergies or sensitivities will be discussed immediately when scheduling an event. A custom menu or special accommodations will be provided as needed.

  • Julie is the owner and will always be on site. Depending on size, a sous chef may accompany Julie.

  • Booking events depends on availability. Confirming a date as soon as possible is best; most events are booked out at least 3 weeks ahead.

  • A deposit of 50% or payment-in-full is accepted to hold the date. All events are paid-in-full before the event date.
